Jumped HHR the wrong way...

So I connected to the positive and then to the bolt with the red cover on it...(it was dark and I didn't realize it nor did i bother with the owners manual. so I Blew the 60 amp EPS fuse. Auto Parts Stores are closed so I haven't replaced it but I am wondering if that is usually all you do OR if you get more damage with this mistake. I didn't emmidietly realise what I did. Until I went to "get a better connection" because it was not starting. so it stayed on o good 5 minutes.

Replace the fuse and all will be good.

From what I hear, it *sometimes* may also cause problems with the tire pressure monitoring system or remote start, requiring a reflash from the dealer.

Thanks for the info! I checked all the other fuses just in case they are all good. I replaced it and its working like a charm. No problems so far with the auto start and I don't think I have TPMS so I should be ok.

When reading the Owners Manual, it will tell you to even make sure the stereo is turned off, as that 'could' be possibly damaged..

TPMS is on 2008 & newer rides..
