Simple automotive electronics work.
Start at the battery and check down line till you find the problem spot.
Traced many "dead" wires over the years. Some easy to find, others drive you nuts.

Now there is a nozzle on the neck of the top radiator hose on the elbow that goes on the motor.... it is leaking antifreeze.... looks like a vacuum port??? since there isn't a pressure cap on the radiator i assume that there is some kind of pressure thing that goes on it???? anyone know what i'm talking about or knows what the thing looks like that plugs it???

No sorry that is not what I am referring to, the part I am talking about is on the engine if you follow the main hose to the motor that elbow/neck has what looks like a vacuum port sticking straight up..

It's like a steam port or something?
Just not sure what part goes to it or what it looks like what to call it? Is it something I can get at parts store????

Not sure if it matters but engine came from a 06 cobalt

I think that is an unused port in the HHR. I would go to the autoparts store an get a plug.

If this HHR is a 2006 it should have a surge tank instead of an overflow tank. Is there a hose from just under the pressure cap to the overflow tank?

What was the resolution to your electrical problems?

OK, you present with a problem and go 6 pages and announce it's fixed, without saying how. Now anyone that searches the same problem will find NO F'ING answer. Thanks

And then you change subject completely.
I am closing this thread. PM me if you decide to post the resolution.
