ok. Yes. I know what the oil spigot is. I mentioned earlier that there is also some oil at the bottom back of the water pump so I was thinking ahead that perhaps my water pump wasn’t torqued down good during the timing chain job. I used a loaner torque wrench and have no clue if it had ever been recalibrated. But I just got a new torque wrench to replace my failed one and can get back in there to retorque in the event that a second leak is discovered. But, until the access cover leak is repaired and the oil all around mopped up i won’t know if there is a SECOND leak somewhere else (like at the water pump or tensioner or anywhere back there) to deal with.
ill keep updated. Thanks for the advice.

Even the good old cereal box cardboard gasket would help seal that cover. I prefer RTV silicon

Update. The tensioner is leaking a small bit. Question is if I should remove clean up mating surfaces and reinstall? Or do I need to loosen just enough to clean around the mating surface then torque down? If I have to reinstall I know I have to reset it and take the valve cover off for that so I can activate the tensioner again. Just don’t know if backing it out just enough to clean up the mating surface means I will need to remove it completely or not.

your take?

Back it off , clean then retorque the tensioner. Or just torque the tensioner and then clean with a spritz of brake cleaner
