My 08 has a drain line, on the drivers side, that terminates in the spare tire storage area. It connects to a rubber elbow that goes to the outside. The elbow was blocked with residue and causing a leak in the storage area.

This is why you never buy a vehicle with a hole in the roof.

Wow....didn't know that Chevy had changed the routing of the drain tube. I think we the members, have erroneously mentioned down the A pillar to the front underside....if I'm not mistaking. Do you still have exit points in the front as well?

Unless additional drain lines have not be mentioned.

The 2 front drains go to the A pillars.
The 2 back drains go to that spot at the rear of the car.

At least, that's what I recall from a diagram that someone posted a while back

Here it is Snoopy. Shows the drains on the right side. Just have to visualize the left side ones.

Thanks fireman.......

You know, I had the headliner out when I did the windscreen repair (performed several years ago according to the TSB that was provided by ChevyMgr) and I do not even recall those rear drains. Good thing I don't turn wrenches for a living.

Great diagram. I'm about to tackle my water issues tomorrow. Feel strongly it's my lines. they are either clogged or disconnected. I use a cup of bleach to keep my AC drain line clear on my house every year. Don't think I would risk it in the car though.

I see you have a 2006. Have you searched "butyl patch"? That's the more likely source of water.

I have a 2006, and had the butal patch leak (almost 2 gallons of water in the car). I fixed it with the sealer tape that they use to seal around the windows of a house, it's heavy duty and really sticky. never leaked another drop. took less than half hour to fix.
