Looking for permanent fix for HHR suspension issues

Are you talking about pedal pulsing or car shaking upon braking?
I think a lot of the judder comes from the rear brakes and/or rear hubs. I feel mine more in the seat than the steering wheel.
After I replaced the front hubs the judder is a "sometimes" thing, leading me to believe it's when I push hard enough to engage the rears it happens. Another item is that when I over adjusted the rears one time the judder got worse. I am in process of budgeting for rear hubs anyway at 150,000 miles.
I should also mention that my judder went away temporarily everytime I have replaced anything on the front. Brakes, rotors, struts, axles etc.

Hhr not only one having front end problems, lots of cars on the road having same issues do to road conditions, check your everyday routes are roads really messed up,that's the main issues around me plow trucks/winter really hard on roads.no car can handle that without repairs,off-roading on concrete not fun.
If you had firestone(repair shop)satistics, very very busy due to cold conditions and street.
