It is possible the tpms are leaking. If the nuts holding them to the rim are not torqued properly they can leak.

when doing the soapy water test on tire machine no leaks but after putting wheels on car they are flat with a couple of hours. Drove home no problems but went flat quickly when backing into spot. Wife was ready to nuke the car. thanks for clearing this up.

The TPMS units DO NOT seal to the rim, the screw onto the inner end of the rubber valve stem. Different story if you have metal valve stems.

Any way "not your problem", go back to the installer.

Thats the Right answer but .....

Back in the good old day's we used to have a tire test tank full of water.

To check for leaks you get to put the complete assemby under water about a half at a time.
We would pump the tire up to Full Recommended pressure first.
We did not use soaps because in a tank it would be impossible to see a leak with all the suds created just by putting the assembly in the tank.
It was a sure fire method before all this high and mighty stuff we have now.

Too simple!!!! - "put two new tires on horatio and I have had 4 flats in 4 days on the same two wheels" - as donbrew says, take it back to the place where you got them installed.

My guess would be they are leaking @ the beads.
They may not have seated properly or they may have been damaged by the installer or they may have had defective beads or improper tolerances to begin with.

You don't mention what Brand you put on ???

Bottom line ... Take them back before you damage them from low air pressure and create another problem in getting them replaced.

NOW !!!!!

tpms units had aluminum stems that were torqued correctly but with the temps being single digits the stems and the steel wheels expanded and contracted at different rates. Put rubber ones and so far so good. thanks again for all the help.
