Thank you for the reply, no it didn't, all was well after the transaxle up until this 4th day now, I'm up in anticipation of working on it again before the heat gets too high, probably about 7 or 8 AM..I'd love it to be that 4 bolt tightening fix but at this point it might just turn into splitting the sections to look it all over first as another reply points in that direction too.. I'm afraid to break something so I'm using 1/4" Drive tools on it. So much Plastic etc.

Will Do, thank you for the advice, Link Error comes up when attempting to remove codes, I used the wrong terminology in the original post or reply, apologies for that.. Today I'll be at it again and will report any findings if it is fixed.. Many thanks to all brainstorming on this too..

Pardon my "Belated" reply, yes it was a waste gate adjustment which I neglected to mention as I read it now, sorry I didn't reply years ago and hope you were not insulted by my oversight... I also hope all is well in your life as it has been a number of years between then and now..

Regards,

I don't know why people want to argue about "PAST THE FEAR OF STRIPPING", the best way is to remove the 4 bolts, separate the halves, look at the hundred connections that need to go home then reassemble the box tightening the 4 bolts until ALL of those connections click into place. The problem is that the 4 bolts don't distribute evenly.
This guy is little off the mark but the procedure is close

Yes I have an SS but no problems on that one, we are dealing with an HHR 2 LT, 2.4 Auto and battery voltage is good, I removed the fuse top with relays etc. and all looked good under it, cleaned pins and receivers with a spray used in Brake work, evaporates quickly, no signs of any problems like bent pins etc though, did it anyway.. Happy to see the example in the Youtube Video made snapping noises as mine did too. No change in anything though..

I uploaded the picture that I can see showing battery voltage and I think the short video uploaded with a quick show of the dash gauges and lights doing their show and tell...

I appreciate the help and most of the reading I did very early this morning led me to think that would be the cure but this one will be as they say, "One for the books" if ever found by me or anyone on this end if it goes that far..

13 volts? Is that with the engine running? Kinda high if it's not running. That's a pretty ancient voltmeter, maybe it's less than perfectly accurate.

It’s a load tester, it should be switched to on then read the voltage
