Misfire problem
Hi all, Hope everyones been well,
The SS is acting weird. I'll try and explain.
Start the car and within a min. check engine light flashes, (won't clear with scan gauge) gauge shows a misfire in all cyl. 20-255 misfires total every 90 seconds or so. Put car in gear , shift to second, check light goes out, and no misfires in any cyl. - Come to a stop, As soon as there is no throtle, Check light flashes and back to numeriuos misfires. This has been going on for a couple of days, Happens at every stop. Car drives completly normal, Boost to 24-25 (normal) No driving issues at all.
I changed the spark plugs , Made no diff. And plugs looked fine. What the hecks going on ?
Guess it'll be going in soon with its first mech. problem in 74,385 miles .
Any ideas about this weird azz prob, Let me no.
Thanks

I'll throw my chips in here with Rob, it sounds like you have a Crank Sensor that is going intermittent on you, its probably going to a null voltage prematurely and dropping out in the lower rpm range.
A tech with a scan tool and the smarts to check the output signal of the CPS going to the ECM will be able to confirm the failure I suspect.

Whether the intake is causing the misfires or not, I would get the stock setup back on if you're not going to tune for it. Fuel trims are important. There is a reason for the DTC and low boost when the trims drift too far from zero.
