In 5 pages and 45 posts the 2.4 wasn’t mentioned, and I see now in his bio , it’s a 2.4l 2006.
However , who is to say the new head didn’t come with 2.2 camshafts? In error.

 

Well the company I purchased the head from thinks that it dose have the wrong cams on it. So they are sending me diffrent cams. I'm really hoping that this will fix my issues. I have been with out a ride for month and a half and the weather where I'm at is getting colder by the day. And it's just frustrating that I have pulled this head off twice re did everything and end up with the same issues. I started to think I was going crazy .

 

I read that post about the wrong cams and my intake cam is position like the one in the picture so I have the 2.2l intake cam. I need the 2.4l intake cam. That explains alot. Thanks for the link to that post. Now to contact the head shop.

 

To bad he can’t send you his 2.4 camshafts. In a week this will all be a distant memory.

 

I find it odd that we had 2 instances this week. The names of the vendors are different, I wonder if they actually do the work or just resell?

 

don the name of the company I went through was Clearwater heads . The are in Clearwater Florida.

 

Charlie got his from Odessa Heads, he didn’t say where.

 

I bet they are resellers

 

Ok got the new cam in installed it got everything back to gether and I get fule spark and not start. About to do a compression test. Anything else in should check?
