Missing inside emergency hatch opener cover piece

I recently purchased a 2011 HHR. I absolutely love it, and for being a rental prior to me owning it, the condition is pretty nice. However I did notice that the little piece inside the car that is on the hatch door that covers the emergency open mechanism is missing. Does anyone know where I can get a quick and (hopefully) cheap replacement. It's literally only a small sliver of plastic, so I really hope it won't cost much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Either a dealer or wrecking yard. Only places that would have one. I would call a wrecking yard and see how many HHR's they have. That piece should be the same on all year models(except maybe color).

If you have an ebony interior the part number for the cover is 15281498, if you have a grey interior the part number is 22736243, GM list price is $22.21...GM Parts Giant has them for $15.51.

You might also check e-bay, or do a Google search.

Wow. $20 for a 4x1 inch piece of abs plastic. Heck, my fancy SS emblems on my grill were only $14 from the dealer.

Yeah, but they're "special" pieces of plastic, handcrafted by elves in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Hit up a wrecking yard - would be MUCH cheaper.

Thanks everyone.. Called my local Chevy dealership and 843de was right... $22.21 for that tiny bit of plastic. SHEESH!

I already checked all the pull-a-parts in GA and none of them have any HHR's (which I guess is both a good thing and a bad thing lol)

Anyone know of any other junk yards in the Gwinnett County area or close by?
