Missing inside emergency hatch opener cover piece

I broke down and went up to the dealership. However I brought a printout of the same part online cheaper (along with another part I needed [replacement AC vent]) and got them to come down a little on both. Just got done installing the little piece and the replacement vent. All came out perfect... not that I was expecting it to be difficult to pop the plastic cover on.

Nice that your dealer came down on price, not a lot of them will do that.

After all the crap I went through getting the car... they owed me a bit.

In the future, if you discover some missing bits (like I have), I've found that www.gmpartsdirect.com has all those pieces for pretty cheap. I think the part you were originally speaking of (if I understood it correctly) is $13.62 for my 06 (which incidentally, mine is also missing ). Sorry I didn't see this sooner for you.
