Multiple codes on new to me HHR SS
2009 HHR SS manual. Just purchased. Will crank over fine. CEL on. Will not start until codes are cleared. Once cleared, will start. CEL off. Drove about 5 miles, runs and operates without engine misfire etc. Guage readings normal range. ABS and TC lights on before clearing codes to start and also on after running and driving 5 miles. Shut off and restart 3 or 4 times. Then, no start condition showing these codes; P0606, P2101, P2149, P2155, using Actron code reader. Truck has not been driven since 2015 or at least not state inspected since 2015. Supposedly driven around the neighborhood on occassion, but, doubtful. Parked in closed in shop. Non climate controlled. South Louisiana heat and humidity perhaps a factor. No obvious visual signs of concern under hood but no extensive wiring inspection done yet. Nothing unplugged for inspection either.
There is also an open ignition switch recall from 2014.
Any words of experience and wisdom would be greatly appreciated and will one day pay it forward.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

I would suspect rodents chewing on wires first.
Did you take the air cleaner apart to clear debris and carcasses?
Second guess would be a loose connector to the ECM.
Third the ECM is broken.
Get the ignition switch recall done, it is free to you.

P0606 ECM could be fried!

P2101 Throttle body problems, it might just need to be lubricated on the butterfly shaft

P2149 Fuel injectors issues probably wiring

P2155 same situation possibly requires a new wiring harness or at least repair!
An SS is a terrible thing to waste, I also suggest cleaning all the ground connectors, fuse box halves, replace the battery if you haven’t already.

The same codes did occur as far as I know, at least the 3 times I reset them. Truck runs fine on the short trip I ran it in the neighborhood. It will start and restart several times, then it won't. Will crank over but not start and run. Clear codes, will start up again until ignition turned to off position. May or may not restart. Semi random occurrence seemingly.
