Lone Ranger, glad to see your back in the saddle, I hope there's many a happy trail between now and future problems. What I want to know now is where do I pick myself up a garage like the one you have in your pics? I can't seem to find myself one anywhere.

Thanks, Crutis & Deb

So is that the same part for both motors, do you know, or were you just happy to get out of the dealer?
I looked at the receipt and the part number on it is: 12597172 not the same as what I posted the other day, although the part looked very similar except no long hose attached like in the schematic. 2006, 2007 HHR 2.2 and 2.4 both use this same part # 12597172. It comes up on http://www.gmpartsdirect.com but does not come up on the acdelco site for some reason.

rcsart, what you don't see in the pic is lawnmower, and assorted junk stacked just to the left off frame of the pic.

Oh I see so your saying when I post pics taken in my own garage just play the angle just right and then refer to these to make myself feel better. Ok I can do this and just think of the time and soreness it will save me. Thanks now all you have to do is convince Deb for me that this is an acceptable fix. Good luck with that!

Thanks, Curtis
