P0171 is fuel TRIM system lean. That means the computer is working to lean the system.

The computer thinks that there is too much fuel in the A/F ratio. Some things to cause it include fuel vapor from the EVAP system dumping into the intake manifold. Have you checked the EVAP purge valve under the hood?

Ron, I understand you bought this 2009 brand new, but that would have been 11 years ago , things wear out.

So true, I don't mind fixing the problem. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to take to the dealership. I just need to know what to fix. Lol

Went out and checked the EVAP and it's clogged so I had to order it, it will be in Friday I'll put it in as soon as I get it. So sit back and relax and I will get back to you Friday. Thanks for the Help. Lol

Cancel your order if you can. The EVAP purge valve(under the hood) is normally closed.

Check the tube from it to the manifold. And the seals (tube) on both sides.
I know you replaced the fuel pump, have you checked the pressure?
