Is the WalMart Max 47 Battery vented?

 

I would think WalMart could answer that question better than anyone on this site. But I can tell you, as of about 3 months ago, WalMart did not carry a direct replacement for the HHR (at least in the MAX series).

 

series 90, I believe is the correct one. And Walmart did not carry it last month anyway.

 

go with the GM delco battery , for correct size and voltage for the computer system

 

I think you mean amperage instead of voltage.

 

If you do order online - just read the specification.
if you make a purchase in the store - just see the left side of the battery, the battery has a vent hole there.
But s top all - expert consultation.

 

I just bought a red top optima battery from summit racing, top post it was actually for an Aveo. 750 cranking amps instead of the stock 600 amps, It was only $30.00 more than the AC Declo battery. The battery cables fit fine, and I was able to use both battery hold downs

As of 1/6/2013, MY WalMart (Johnson Control) now stocks their Max battery replacement for the HHR.

Their in house number is T5 and it is vented. .........$106 and change.

 

Glad I ge a deal from Car Quest jut got the replacement for 78.00....
