Fixed

Well I took my car in and they fixed it.They replaced my right strut,they said there was seepage around it, and now its all good. They noted that it was checked per bulletin 04-03-08-006b. With the rear brake locking up they deglazed rear brake shoes and cleaned, lubed and adjusted they are fine now. They could not duplicate the gas guage but they noted that they updated the ecm ro latest release per bulletin 06-08-49-018. so im all fixed for now

Why not buy aftermarket struts since you have no warranty ? You can get a better strut for the money.

I thought about that after I said that besides not impressed with factory struts anyway
