I have a Victor Reinz head gasket that might fit, I bought it for a 2008 2.2L. P/N 54440
PM if you would like it cheap.
The eBay description says it is Multi Layer Steel and it fits a 2006 2.2L. Mine is still shrink wrapped to the cardboard, so I cannot vouch for it. Color is Dark Gray-Blue , if it was wet probably black.

Got a new Cylinder Head and in the process of putting it on but had to stop because it has been raining and will rain for the next week.
I lightly coated the head bolt threads and the underside of the bolts heads with oil and torqued em down then angle gauged them, this is where I stopped until it stops raining someday.lol
I was really surprised that it called for only 22 ft pnds then 155 degrees but I assume since things are aluminum that explains it.

Got everything hooked up and car running. So far so good, runs perfect. I let the car heat up until the fan kicked on and then off. I have done this a few times today.
I will drive it some more tomorrow while I have my Autoenginuity laptop on it.
I will come back after a week and let you know how it is going.

I'm back so soon.
Hooked Scanner/Code Reader up and everything was working as per specs.
Engine vacuum was a steady 20.
Saw no fluid leaks.
I put about 400 miles on it doing city and Highway miles.
Just changed the oil and filter with Mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic and oil filter, not a bit of noise or codes.
Thanks everyone for your help =)

Just coming back to say HHR is still running great,he has put a lot of miles on it since I repaired it.
Only thing that made me curious is he said he had a ticking noise on his engine for a day or two and it threw a knock sensor code but the ticking went away after and hasn't come back.
Everything looked and was showing fine,I reset the code and it hasn't come back so far.
I told him to just make sure his oil and fluids are fine and his engine isn't overheating.
