NO Cruise control, remote start or autolock...all quit at once
#14
If your cruise is still working then it sounds like it is just a fob issue. Try a new fob battery before a dealer visit.

I have changed the battery in both of the fobs. One of the fobs had been hanging in the cabinet since I purchased the car. Had always used the one. Neither will lock the car but the new unused one will unlock the car. Both have new batteries

You may have more than one problem here. But you DO HAVE a remote key fob problem. If one remote will unlock but the 2nd one won't, then at the least, the 2nd one has a problem. These remotes are known to fail quite often. Even with a new battery you may not have good battery contact inside the remote. Do a search here for remote problems and repairs. There are multiple threads on this. Good Luck.
