I have an 06 HHR bought used 5 years ago.

t/c cel and hard shift have frequently, yet intermittently been a problem for the past 4. DLC has never sent power to a code scanner in the 4 years since the problem occured.

I have 40 more days to pass smog and i can't clear or even check my codes.

http://www.ehow.co.uk/how_7206226_re...ine-light.html suggests "There was a recall of 2006 HHRs concerning the data link connectors not providing data to pocket scanners and state emissions equipment. GM offered to reprogram HHR electronic control modules at no charge to rectify the situation."

I have seen the sticky regarding the intake and exhaust actuators and that on the plan for next weekend but i was hoping someone could direct me on how to power the DLC again.

*Also both outlets went out after and separately if we think it might be a fuse but those were check (And battery connection) about 3 1/2 years ago.
