It was under warranty when I had them check the headlight problem but it took them 3 months to get the part and do the work..!!
If it turns out to be the BCM and it was also the cause of the previous headlight problem, it should still be covered under warranty because of when it was first reported.

All is well..!!

Thanks for all the suggestions for fixes on my problem.
The panel went on the hook to the dealer this AM and I'm driving it again tonight.
The dealer tells me it was a bad connection in the under hood fuse panel, they took it apart and reassembled it now everything is working.
The bright side ... if there is one ... is that the tow was covered by roadside emergency and the dealer didn't charge me for the fix.

Thanks again to everyone who pitched in.

Ahhh, that sounds like the infamous, TSB on the fuse panel connection.

That was my first thought when reading your post. But you indicated that you had power to the fuse panel. So I disregarded it. Apparrently, the entire connectivity of the panel needs to be checked when this is suspected. That is good to know.

The power at the fuse panel fooled me also, but it looks like it was a problem that the signal from the BMC was not getting to the relays where the power was.
Its been 24 hrs and everything is still working..:)
I really hope this was a permanent fix because its going to get real cold real soon here!!!!
The answer makes sense....but why it happened still baffles me

Thanks again everyone
