At this point I'm beginning to strongly suspect the ECM as the culprit here. The chances of two bad throttle bodies are slim but not beyond the realm of possibility. I'd give this dealer one more and one last chance at this before heading somewhere else. I know that you need your HHR for work related duties, and this really sucks. Hang in there 1151.

Trying 843. But I look at it as a slight inconvenience. I can get a loaner where the only cost is fuel. But its no biggie.

Maybe it would be worth your while to call the service manager at another Chevy store in your area. Bounce the problem off his/her head and see if they have any other ideas, you may just want to dump the current folks. I don't really see dumping your HHR with the current crop of problems, you just need to get them diagnosed once and for all. Unfortunately these days a lot of shops repair things by "shotgunning" them, they just keep throwing parts hoping for a fix. I'd want to know why they condemned the old throttle body, was it truly bad or just the easiest part to change?

You might want to have them look up 08-06-04-022B and PIP4549B.

843. According to their Code puller last time, the throttle body was to blame.

One is a technical service bulletin, and the other is a "Preliminary Information" bulletin.
