Guess I’m confused.
Immo programming is for doing keys. “Chip” keys in particular that are part of the lmmobilization system on the car. Correct ?
I’m not seeing where this basic Autel unit is supposed to do fobs also.

Yes OldBlue, this thread is going off on a tangent.
When the programmer was communicating with the vehicle the bluetooth connection was lost, that is a big no no, and has caused major problems with the canbus system.
Nothing was done by me regarding programming, the bluetooth connection was lost before communicating with the vehicle.

10% of the reviews on Amazon are 1 star. There is a 2 star review from Jaguar owner, says it messed up his car. I think he said he had to reset the ECM.

Well, maybe you should call Autel. Maybe they know how to fix their malfunction. I don't use bluetooth because it is unreliable.
I just don't know how it is possible to mess it up if it never even connected. Short circuit in the adapter, maybe?
