Oil Change ?
#6
As long as the vehicle is under warranty all services will be performed by the dealer. I'm willing to pay the money for the peace of mind and full records that come with dealer service. If anything goes wrong while the vehicle is under warranty there will be no questions about whose fault it is.

The 2.4L HHR is one of the easiest car to change the oil. I don't even need to jack the car up to get at the drain plug. The dealer wanted $89 for a Mobil 1 oil change. I can do it myself for $30.
The last time I had the car in at the dealer, I took my own oil and had them change it, but it was still pricey.

Mine's still under warranty.. But I did do my oil change & used Mobil 1 (of course) & filter cartridge.
But I also do keep all reciepts, in my records to cover my azz for warranty..
I don't think any Chevy tech is gonna be as fussy as I will on my own ride..Plus I scope out everything under there, just for my peace of mind & etc..
