Oil Fill Tube, how to remove?

So I installed my KN FIPK intake and I wanted to clean up the engine bay by removing the tube. Which way do I twist the tube and lift? I am afraid to break it.

Thanks.

Counter clockwise. It should be about a 1/3 turn then stop. It just pulls straight out after that

Thanks for the tips, and I live in the San Bernardino area. I just got this HHR about two weeks ago and definitely like the options on this ride.

This may be a stupid question but.. When you remove the oil fill tube, do you use the same oil cap? Or do you have to buy a new cap that fits?
