No pain here, I have an 07 with the 100K warranty ..I just feel for the guys and gals who bought an 06 new and are taking it in the shorts if something in the powertrain chits the bed at 75k...they are screwed where Joe Schmoe who bought a used 06 is covered...just seems a bit ...well crappy

The '07 cost more than my '06, and the residual value on the 100k '06 was higher than one without, so the only people who took it in the shorts were the ones who paid more for their car that'll go 300k on the same engine.

Well I guess I did alright then by getting a 22K MSRP HHR for a tic under 16K then which is probably less than a lot of folks paid for their 06's.


True...the engine is the least of my worries....jury is still out on the rest of the car though lol.....
