Angry Onstar antenna mast

Well...somebody ripped off my onstar antenna mast. Thing just screws off. Watching for it to show up on E-bay. Dealer wants $40 for replacement. Does anyone know part number specifics and/or information on aftermarket replacements? I see a carbon fiber version from Vision Motorworks that looks promising but don't know if it will fit. 2009 HHR SS

I thought that was a XM antenna.

And mine doesnt screw off, I have to press a tab and give it about 1/4 turn.

If it's an OnStar/XM antenna, it's the one on the back of the roof.

Can't get mine off (antenna) :{

I have an 09' that I wan't to exchange with a stubby . I am a pretty strong guy, and I and I know righty tighty, lefty loosey, but..I am about to bend the roof! Any Ideas, the dealer says "comon in, and we'll warranty the antenna because we destroyed it getting it off"! Oh the SM is my brother in law... but still, that is a pain a lot of time away from important stuff for a $40.00 part. There has to be an easier way?

No doubt you are correct. I've never removed one myself.......
Just intended that it didn't appear to take any tools.

You original owner? If not maybe original owner (or dealer) super-glued it on. Certainly something I'm thinking of doing with replacement
