P0016 error code
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I changed the oil in my 2009 HHR yesterday, went for a test drive and then shortly thereafter i got a check engine light on. I looked it up and it gives me the code P0016. I have done a little research and it appears that it has to do with the crankshaft position. It does not make sense that it happens right after changing my oil. Can anyone shed some light on this? Also, where is the switch located so I can check to make sure nothing got unplugged. Thank you for any information I can get.

Usually means the timing chain is stretched or the tensioner needs replacing.
The tensioner on a 2009 is regulated by oil pressure, so not odd at all. Could be just a transient thing, are there any strange rattling noises?
Try putting "p0016" into the search, there is a lot of info on this site.
