Unhappy paint inperfections ?

I have noticed 4 paint inperfecyions in my waxing and buffing my black ss.
spot #1 - on the roof is a spot that looks like someone draged a comb on the paint, when it was wet. 3"x4" spot #2 looks like a drummel tool bit danced in a 1" spot on the door, but not threw the paint ,(clearcoated over) spot #3 open the drivers door, and a spot under the rubber window seal on the body, 4" x 2" is clearly not painted like the rest of the truck, grayish. spot 4 is actually a bumper issue, there is a small dime size mark on the rear bumper, looks like a round from a bb gun, but no paint damage, and was there day one.

mechanicly the truck is great. but every time i'm cleaning it, (which is every other day) it just digs on me you would really have to search to find these imperfections.

so would you bring it back and if so , expect what ?

thanks guys
chris

I noticed 3 differant scratches and 1 paint imperfection when I took my HHR SS. I told the dealer about them and they took it to the body shop, which found 3 more paint imperfections. After 2 trips to the body shop everything was fixed to my satisfaction all free of charge.

Spot #1 sounds like it would be from the brush dealers use to wash cars with (we use them at my dealer, soft brissel (spelling?). Just my .

I have the same comb looking one on my hood. I also have a few very small ones on the back of the car. I looked over the car pretty closely when I took delivery and did not notice them. I noticed them while washing the Noodle-5 on Sunday. I may just mention them to the dealer later because it is clearly under the clearcoat. I think thay are not all that noticible, but it still bothers me.

I went out earlier to get into my car, and something got on the hood and basically looks like it started eating through the clear coat. I was parked in an open-air lot, so I don't know how anything got on it, but I went and sprayed it down...stains are still there. Any suggestions? Clay bar and wax? Never tried to fix anything like this before.

i've had something like this before, i don't remember what it was, maybe a weird type of sap, but it sucks, that's for sure.

I'd expect...paint that doesn't rot in the sun?

Either way...I bought some Turtle Wax Ice, so I'll give that a shot, if not I'll head to the dealer and see what they can do for me. Very low expectations, but ya never know - so far this dealership has definitely exceeded any expectations I've had.
