Yeah I know. But I was parked in an open lot with no trees when it happened, so I must be extremely unlucky. That, and there was no bird poo on the car.

MR. ANAL also has 2 spots on the SS that are not to my satisfaction, 1 on the left front fender, and on the flat part of the rear bumper, almost seems like the bumper was creased, but it seems like there is an excessive amoumt of paint there, you can only notice these imperfections from an angle, and you really have to look for them, I decided to leave them alone, I know I can see them, but I don't think anyone else will ever notice

Never tried to fix anything like this before.
if the sun was out and it baked in the clear coat, the very best you can do is minimize what has happened. And like you said, clay bar, and polish, not wax, not just yet, you want to polish the surface first, you may not eliminate completely, but you will be able to make it less noticable, and then when you are happy with the results, then wax.
Also remember to do in the shade and make sure the surface is cool to the touch. You never want to do this in the sun, no matter what they say, always in the shade.

I have a few pin-point imperfections in the paint on the passenger side back fender. It just ever so slightly takes away from the smoothness of the black glossy look. I only really see it when I'm cleaning/detailing...and that is almost every day!

I've had Blackie for almost 11 months now, so not enough of an issue to bother me.
