Hey Y'all,

I noticed yesterday that I have a grey/white rectangular outline on the cover of my passenger side airbag. Seems like the airbag box or whatever underneath the cover is somehow starting to show through.

I know this has not always been like that for long or else I would have noticed sooner.

Anyone else have this going on????

 

Mine has been like that since day one.

 

they are all like that. some more, some less. looked at alot of them.

 

i have the samething didn't see that there when i boaght it last november but have to i used some 3m plastic protectant acouple of times its not to notice able and all the plastic is nice.

 

I have it too. Apparently it's an issue with that cover or something

 

for those who have this problem have you talked with your reps at your local GM service departments. I'm going in for an oil change at some point soon and am going to bring this up but would like to know what you guys have been told about the problem

 

It almost looks like stress marks. Thankfully I do not have the issue...yet. It would be interesting to see what the dealer has to say and whether it is a defect. I would be pretty annoyed if they said it was not and I had to live with the lines on my dash..yup fight would ensue for sure over that one...

 

I just noticed this in mine this weekend. Definately was not like this before. Let us know what your dealer tells you when you take it in. If I have time this week, I will take this issue up with my dealer.

 

After reading this I went out to the car and noticed it. It's almost like someone took a white crayon and drew a rectangle on it. Fortunately I live 3 blocks to the dealer where i bought mine from. I plan on taking it first thing tuesday morning to see what they say about it. I'll let you know as soon as i know anything

 

I will have to check mine out and see if it's happening to mine. Until I can do that, do the people who are seeing this all have the gray and not cashmere interior? Just a thought...but I drove mine today and am sure I would notice that if it was there.
