Question pcm power tain contol module

Is any one having problems I have an 06 2.2 liter and I can't go faster that 45 my rpms are at 5000. Its an automatic tranny! Do I need to buy a new PCM and have it flashed?? Thanks for any answers...

Any CEL codes, check your MAF sensor and ensure the electric connections are tight

1st post is a little hard to read.

My guess is you have a transmission problem. From your stated facts, it sounds like the transmission is not shifting past 2nd gear.
I would suggest taking it to a repair shop ASAP. Driving it at those high RPM's could lead to serious engine damage.

Why would you start throwing that part at it? PCM would be the totally last item on my list after a new muffler.
