As for the gas tank, I was wondering how much soap got in there and how that would affect the gas.
When I think of Ala., I get all sweaty, too hot for me (summer). Never think of it being cold.
I never watch the weather channel, that`s for those who want something to complain about... You can`t control it, and you`re pretty much stuck with it, nothing I`m interested in...
Good luck with the gas problem.
PS. I was thinking, how did you close the door with the cap hanging through.
Did the body get scratched...?

That would've added nice insult to injury, huh? :) Nah...no damage to the side of the car. I couldn't believe I had done something so mind-numbingly careless.

One more question: Where does one buy dry gas? I googled heet and immediately found vendors.

This was not the case though when I googled "dry gas".

BTW, made the trip to wal-mart and back on my HHR (about a 30 mile trip) and still noticed no problems.

I use "Sta-Bil" gas stabilizer every winter it dries out any moisture or water in the Gas... Google that up, But it's in most any parts store... Follow directions..

PS: I personally think leaving the tank 1/2 full, may not be the best thing..
I'd add enough Sta=Bil for a full tank & then fill it up. That will help mix it thoroughly.. It will also help dilute whatever amount of soap/water & etc, your HHR may have ingested..

Better safe than sorry.. Sta=Bil is only a few bucks...
