Clicking from left front wheel area

I have this noise also. I usually notice it around 35 mph. I figured it was my plastic wheel cover. (Don't judge me.)

Plastic wheel covers will make the most unusual noises!! I believe you!!!! I SWEAR that the ones on my Lumina will make an awful noise if they are on certain wheels, so I have to keep them on the same wheels all the time. Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I SWEAR it's the truth!

Don't quote me on this, but I thought there was a TSB out about the plastic wheel covers not fitting perfectly, and moving some during driving. This would cause the tic'ing sound heard on the front.

Ah, I missed that wonderful two letter "SS." Alloy wheels certainly wouldn't have the same issue.

I don't have an SS, but my LS is a five speed. No clicks or strange sounds that I hear, and I'm pretty sensitive to odd sounds vehicles make. I seriousely doubt its caused by the manual transmission, or if it is, that its normal.
