LMAO i'm pretty sure i'm a little smarter than that haha, i'll let ya know how it goes, doing the rotors tonight, bought rotors from napa and they seem pretty beefy! I was surprised how heavy and thick they are compared to my S-10 drilled and slotted rotors!

Keep the receipt from NAPA, as they probably have a lifetime warranty on the rotors. NAPA has treated me pretty good here.

Got the rotors all changed, really quick and easy! WAY easier than my S-10! Been driving all day and it feels like a new car again! LOL All for $150, saved myself almost $500!

Good deal!!! Yeah it takes me longer to jack up each corner and re and re the wheels than it does to replace the rotors.

Hopefully you adjusted to rear brakes? 3-4 clicks on the emergency brake should be about right. If you didn't adjust them, a lot of people here have found that the front brakes are doing most of the work, and end up with warped rotors quite quickly.

Depends on the manager on duty at the big box stores. Technically It does say Defects, not normal wear. My local guys got smart after 3 or 4 times.

I am starting to think that my rear brakes are the juddering problem, seems that it goes away after I adjust them up correctly. But then, it goes away for a time no matter what I do (struts, shocks, sway bushings, LCAs, rotors, pads) then pops back up right after I sez to myself "you are a smarty pants".

Hate 'em all you want! Problem is: you got 'em! If you don't tend to them, they will bite you.

Self adjusting rear drums on cars with front disc brakes HAVE NEVER WORKED right. I might even go so far as to say even on 4-wheel drum systems of yore, if my memory was better.

Just do the drive in reverse and apply firm brakes a few times for a quick adjustment...most the problem is these cars dont get backed up enough fir proper adjustment...it takes a bit more then a crawl backwards with a babytap brake to keep em adjusted. Applies to rear drums only...
