The p03xx codes can be very illusive - they can disappear for weeks/months even - them come back out of the blue. I really doubt the work the dealership did caused any issue with the current misfire problem.

Follow thru with the suggestions above - add to the list of things to check: hit the coil packs with some WD40 after double checking the connections to the coil packs (WD40 will help isolate water/moisture caused problems.

I've given up on using a phone on the site. Just too awkward for an ol'guy like me.

I drove it for about 150 miles..... start and stop... high speed and everything..... It was fine... since I last cleared the codes.... and yes I know you said not to clear the codes anymore, and to just drive it...... Which i did.... I stoped at the gas station for cigs... NOOO GAS... Got in and It started all over again ESC and traction control mess..... Idling rough as heck till I past about 2k.... I started to get worried.... So I drove home at about 60mph.. and about 30miles...... Got home left it in park it was struggling to idle , lights was dimming and all.... tried diff. gears in a load and still the same... Don't know what to do,but Take it to the dealer which is last resort... OR replace all the the plugs which have &72k on them and the coil packs.... and hope that works or im really fff'd ....

Is the CEL on again? If so, what are the codes?

Replacing the plugs and all the coil packs at the same time, when it is very unlikely that BOTH are at fault, is called "throwing money at it hoping the problem goes away". Especially when neither of them might be the cause.

Have you even pulled a few of the plugs to read their condition? Or tried checking the connections at the top of the coil packs?

If not, you are probably best to just take it to a shop for diagnosis.

Yes the CEL is on again, plus the traction control light was on for a bit then dissappeared..... Here are the recent codes. since it has been sitting..... C 0561 system invalid disable serial data (stored) ,,,,P 300 Random Multiple misfire current/history ,,,,P 301 Misfire detected Confirmed,,,,,,,,,P 301 Cylinder 1 detected Pending,,,, P 301 Misfire Detected Permant....... So I take it It's something with the wiring for the ignition, but don't know how to go about it trouble shooting .... new to this motor and new technolgy
