procedure to replace Radiatior HHR 2006 2.4 manual shift
Hi everyone I screw the radiator with the jack under the car and I need to replace, I got one from RockAuto but I never did that job in my car before, is an HHR 2006 2.4 LT, manual transmission, if somebody has experience with Radiator Replacement I will be happy to hear that, please step by step. I saw in the current radiator have only 2 hosen one up on the left side and another one down on the right side, as I show in this picture.

Very easy job, those two hoses are coolant hoses, just remove the spring clamps , a pair of pliers will work , gently wiggle the hose off the bib. Then remove the two bolts the hood the rad and AC condenser in position remove the air deflectors on the side and the top, then lift the rad up and out.

thanks, Oldblue, but don't need to remove the aluminum pipe on the front of the picture?, just I need to remove the hoses in the back of the Radiator?, the new radiator I bought is for automatic transmission also, is the same number I called the dealer they gave me the part number with the part number I bought in Rock Auto(good services fast shipping and good price) is CSF 3261 part number 22727322, so I have to modify something to install in a manual car ?.
Thanks

Thanks, oldBlue sound good but when I bought the radiator in Rock Auto I bought this Flush Radiator also, so I can use this alone to wait a few minutes and after apply water to clean all new rad inside, right?
sorry, I asked too many questions but I wouldn't like to fail and screw something in this new Rad.
thanks

Hi everyone I cleanup inside the radiator before use to remove all chemicals according to the procedure, I made the installation easy job, but still problem hight temperature the coolant is over 95 until 113-grade celsius, so the radiator is new, now what happens!!? I don't know what is the situation now, could be the thermostat? , the water pump? the hoses?, before was working fine until the put the jack only a strong one but I don't know maybe slippery from the place I put in the top of the jack peace wood that between the jack and the chassis to lift more on the front part close to the radiator(foolish from me), go down suddenly and take out the place the radiator and spill a lot of coolant liquid after that day that I was working to replace the wheel bearing start with high temperature, is like with the hit shake something, I thought was only the radiator that why I replace only the radiator but now I see still overheating issues. so any idea please I would like to fix that before start winter.

Tomas, make sure you burp the coolant , it’s probably just air in the system
