Just bought the wife a 2011 Malibu LT and the stereo is awesome. It's louder than mine at half the volume?

2007 HHR LS with basic single-CD radio unit. CD function failed shortly after intermittent sound problems. Unit replaced under warranty. Replacement unit now developing intermittent problems. CD will randomly revert to radio while operating until unit is fully warmed up. Could be a cold solder joint. Looks like this one is on the way out also.
