I have a 2009 HHR with original radio it started a couple week ago sometimes in the morning the radio and cd's it sounds as if they are in a tunnel you can hardly hear it. the most days by late afternoon it is all working fine as if nothing was ever wrong. will do this just about every day. does anyone have an idea if this could be the radio or the wireing

 

It can be either - including the antennae on the roof (make sure it's screw in contacts are clean)

 

Could be the front door speakers, a well documented problem.
