Radioproblems

Bad radio, speakers or connections. We can't "magically" tell you what your problem is over the internet.
You'll have to do a hands on diagnosis or get someone else to look at it for you.
EDIT: Could a mod please move this thread to the correct forum ?

I had my own problems with the stock stereo in my '06 HHR. Its why I signed up here in the first place It turned out to be the stock speakers. A search, even on just this site, will give you a weeks worth of threads to read.
Since you said you do have one speaker that works when it wants to I can say with confidence that your still running the stock speakers.
You will need to replace them with other known good or maybe new ones. GM has been using special connectors on their speakers for some time. You will have to remove those to make most after market speakers work. Or do like I did and splice into the wires between the GM connectors and the radio.
I cut into the stock speaker wire about an inch above the stock connector for just in case someday I might fall into a deal on stock speakers again.
I put several different brands of speakers in my doors over a few months time. I've ended up with a cheap set from Walmart in there now.
They sound great. A neighbor bought an 2010 Cobalt with the premium sound system and my cheap speakers sound better than hers.
The really odd thing about my stock speakers is I put them in some home made enclosures and I still use them in my garage. Got no clue why they won't work in the car,...
