Hey there everyone. I'm a fairly new HHR owner here. I bought my 07 2LT on Jan 2nd. About 3 days after bringing it home I noticed an awful lot of rattling in the headliner.

My car came with a sunroof, so one day, I opened up the sun roof and looked around. I noticed that just forward of the sunroof, the velcro pieces attaching the headliner to the roof had come off the headliner completely. I also noticed that in it's current configuration, just putting the velco back on the headliner would cause it to come off again soon, because the way the headliner was molded.

Anyway, I took my car into the dealership and told them I wanted the velcro reattached to the headliner but I wanted a spacer inbetween the velcro and the headliner. When I picked it back up that night, I looked and they did everything that I had asked them too, and let me tell you the difference is night and day. I've had it back for just over a week now and no more headliner rattle. I love my HHR!
