Rear marker lights out

'09 SS---My rear side marker lights are not coming on when i have the headlights on. They should, correct? The front side markers come on but not the rear. Fuse maybe??? Are all of the markers on the same fuse? Any other items to look at besides a plain old short? Thanks for any suggestions!

Have you checked the bulbs? They are only a 194.

If its just the rear side markers, it might be something as simple as burned out bulbs. The little #194 bulbs used in the side markers can poop out in only 2-3 years. Grab a pack of them and try new bulbs, might just fix the problem in a snap.

Yeah I had a couple gone on my 2008 after only a couple years. I replaced them with LEDs which should last forever. Lots of the 194 LED bulbs on ebay.

or swap with one of the front bulbs, since you know they are good.
