Rear thump thump

Rear thump thump

Hey guys. I have a double thump only way to describe when I hit a bump just right and or turn. Replaced shocks in May. Control arm assembly and BJ has no play bushings seem good. On the 2011 LT does it even have a sway bar link I cant seem to locate it any ideas thank you!

Uh, yes there are sway bar links located on the ends of the sway bar and sway bar bushings on the sway bar.

What does this have to do with the REAR?

it is coming from the driver side rear I should have specified my bad. I thought the rear had a torque tube or something

The shock bolts need to be torqued properly, some have needed to put a washer in to take up space for aftermarket shocks.
What brand did you install?

If it's a rear noise, take a look at the coil springs. There have been several documented broken rear springs posted on this forum. Some of those were hard to see because of where they broke on the bottom coil.
If that's not it then just look at everything else back there. Muffler and tailpipe loose. Rear bumper cover. Even a spare tire and/or jack not fastened down snug. Any of those could cause a thump noise.

Already tightened down the spare I will investigate the other suggestions I believe they were moog shocks thanks for all the helpful suggestions!

Perhaps Monroe shocks, I don’t know of any Moog shocks

I cant remember what kind I got from autozone I know it wasnt duralast. I think it might be shock even though it has 6000 miles on it. The rear is swaying in high winds and bounces on certain roads slightly

Check those spring coils as suggested by George. The rest seems pretty vague.
