Great!!
To get to the assembly just remove the center brake light cover, then the headliner cover and two headliner clips. the assembly is in the upper right hand corner.
I just did the same thing today...Washer fluid was leaking all over the back inside.....couldn't find the parts so I just ran line to line....hoping that the part wasn't in there for a reason...Don't even know what it would be called...

it is a one way flow valve to stop the fluid from draining all the way back to the pump in the engine bay. it saves the effort to pump fluid all the way back to the spray nozzle at the rear window! I removed it from the back and placed it up front, the fluid still stays primed all the way to the rear window ready to squirt!!

Leaky in Texas Too!

My rear window has leaked pretty much since I got the car in 2010. The dealer had fixed it two times under warranty. Now it is leaking again in the same place. I think I will try this and see if I can fix it. They obviously don't know how to get it fixed and I am tired of trying.

Rear windshield leak in the inside

My 2010 Chevy HHR all the sudden whenever I try washing my rear windshield the fluid starts to leak on the inside. Could that mean there's a leak in the hose? And if so where do I find the hose?

The hose is plastic, it cracks when old and frozen. Just splice a good piece of rubber hose into it. No magic involved.

OH!
You are saying that the fluid is piped all the way from the front of the vehicle?
Wild.

Does the hose run on left or right side?
(Above side doors of course.)

Actually may be under floor on left side, judging by a different GM diagram I've seen.
While reservoir is on right side of engine compartment.

passenger side. The drawing for the nozzle is confusing.

thankyou donbrew

That's a much better illustration, the second one I found shows tubing going to left and down.

Thankyou.
