Reflashing a BCM.

Good to know Dave. It seems like mine always started with ABS,ESC and Traction messages first and then the gauges and trans went nuts. I'm taking mine to the dealer
next week to have the Crank Position Sensor relearn done. I looked at the ABS connector behind the module( between the module and inner fender) and it looks tough
to get a paw in there to disconnect. Would pulling the ABS fuse accomplish the same thing?

So far so good. I still have to drop the car off at the dealer next week to have them do the CPS relearn. I will let you know what happens then.
The new ECM cleared up my Exhaust Cam solenoid and ECT issue.
This is not my first experience with a defective vehicle ECM/PCM. My wife had a 2004 Dodge Journey
that had 2 codes for secondary ignition resistance on 2 cylinders. This was a 2.4 liter 4 cyl. The codes would appear every time the vehicle was started, after the codes were cleared.
The engine ran fine though. Car had 7000 miles at the time. Drove it like this for a year until the trans started having harsh shifting at 8000 miles. Took it to the dealer, since it was
still under powertrain warranty, Valve body was replaced. Still the same problem. The PCM was defective. PCM was replaced and this cured the trans problem. Also, the ignition
codes were gone. All was good, and covered under warranty.
