remote start question

If it was a rental none of the major rental co. have remote start. Go to dealer and ask for a build list. They can print it out for you they just need vin.
It will say if it has it or not. it will also say if it was a rental fleet car.

Thanks to all for the responses. I guess it's time to roll up my sleeves and get researching! I'm not sure why I wouldn't have the fobs with the remote start option, unless it isn't equipped or the previous owner just didn't give them to the dealership. I despise my sales guy, but I'll call him tomorrow and find out what the deal is.
Black Beauty - no one in MO, as far as I know. And yes, I'm rather fond of my user name. I use it on all the forums I post on.

Do you think maybe my HHR came with it and then it was turned off or something by the last owner. I have had remote start on my past 2 vehicles due to the fact that I was stationed in North Dakota and it was a nice asset to have. Just wondering if its possible to just flip a switch and have it turned on. I am guessing that if the button is on the remote then it is prob hooked up somewhere within the vehicle.
Push the LOCK button and then right after push and hold the TOP button on your key fob, it should start.
