Rock Auto Flex Pipe Review?
Hi All,
Need to fix my exhaust flex pipe as it split, searched for reviews but didn't find any...has anyone used the one from Rock Auto and if so are you satisfied with fit? Mfg is Pollution Control Industries.
2008 CHEVROLET HHR Inner & Outer Braid Flex Pipe
Thanks, Dave

Do you know how to weld, or have someone lined up to do it?
Check on Ebay for some other options.
If your #1 O2 sensor is mounted on the pipe some additional work may be involved. The new pipe needs to be cut out to accommodate the bung.
I have seen some on Ebay that include the bung portion of the pipe.
I have used a similar product on my old 2008. Check you motor mount and your transmission mounts as they are often to blame for the failure.

I saw the ones on Ebay, looked at quit a few on line actually. The sensor and general pipe fitment is why I was asking about a particular one from Rock Auto. Been doing a lot of reading and it seems some pipes fit better than others but none of the reading say exactly what pipes they are using other than "Ebay". Hoping someone that reads these threads has used that one from Rock Auto and provide some feedback. I do have a welder, plan on checking mounts this weekend.
Thanks

I bought my flex pipe from Rock Auto and took it to a muffler shop ( non franchise) and they did a good job . I was well pleased, I asked if they had done these before and he said "plenty". He charged me $125, because he had to cut the old off, fit the new and then weld.

Dave6180 - are you aware that the flex pipe can likely be covered under the GM emissions warranty if it fits the 80,000 or 8 year warranty? Some dealers have balked at it, but a number of members have had it covered.
