SEL and P0010 code
I took in my 2008 HHR as the SEL was lit, and it was throwing a code P010.
Took it to the dealer, he called back to say it was missing a fuse. I said"whatever, it should be covered under warranty" He says, no, only engine internals are covered under powertrain. .
My argument was that the fuse box was NEVER touched, if it was missing, it came that way from the factory. Also, if the fused caused this, why no SEL since the beginning? Why did the light go out for one whole day last week.
In any event, I've taken my car them twice for warranty work, and I've had to shell out money both times, pointing to the fine print.
well here's my fine print
I'LL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM CAR EVER AGAIN, NEW OR USED.

Only once? I've done this several times in the past and would again if need be. They've closed a few dealerships around here which makes 'playing' them a little tougher but for that last couple of years I've dealt with a GM delership that is one of my brother in law's clients and haven't had any problems with them. The thing of it is, if you don't buy G.M., what would you buy? I've seen nothing to make me think any one manufacturer is noticeably better than any other in this area.

Which fuse?
All's well that ends well.
