Sensor warnings come on after oil change
#21
Well, h'mmmm. Did you by any chance check to see if your brake fluid was low?
A) if it is low that means you need new pads
B) if it's low it will set ESC and TC lights
C) if it's a little low, when you tilt the car by jacking it up the sensor will get a low reading
Other thoughts: When working around the oil filter it is easy to jiggle the connectors going to the ABS module, those things have sometimes had bad connections. It is one of the modules that lives under the Darth Vader hood in front of the fuse box.

Well I still have the problem.
I get a block or two away then I get a quick LOW FUEL , followed by the SERVICE ESC and TRACTION CONTROL OFF . This happened every time I tried to drive it..
So I tried a 30 minute relearn, which didn't help.
I thought maybe I bumped the connectors under the hood when I changed the oil, so I disconnected the battery, and carefully reseated the connectors for the module under the hood. No bent pins.
Brake fluid is full to the top, I've never done anything to it, almost looks like its too full.
Now It won't start at all...
2011 with 4500 miles. No problems at all until I changed the oil.
I'll look for codes tomarrow.
Any thoughts ?

update !
No warranty for me ... the car was salvage due to having all 4 doors stolen while new on the dealers lot.
But... I found the problem, there's a wiring connector that is just above the oil filter to the right. I noticed that the little rubber gasket on one of the wires was not fully in the connector. The wire pulled out very easy, and it won't lock into place. Looks like its a defect from the factory.
Its works fine now held in place with electrical tape, but I've got to see if I can get a pin or maybe a connector.
Thanks for all the help

till you find a connector, you could use some silicone on the connection, tape it for overnight to cure the silicone, then you will be water-tight & it won't come apart unless you want it to..
