All these things that you say you checked, are you just visually checking, or are you testing?

Sorry been busy ..

Battery terminals had been check and cleaned .. look fine and no issue with it

I watched the video , seems like a loose or broken wire , the multiple warning lights on the dash board, also indicate a low voltage battery issue, anything under 12.4 volts will cause this type of problem, and or a dead cell or 2 in the battery.

We bought a brand new battery .. same result .. dashboard sitll going crazy and dashlight coming on and off like security, brake, with a text message to check ESC appearing across the dashboard.

He starting to think it the BCM but without Tech2 tools, he couldn't confirm it. He said his shop cost me an arm and leg to scan it due to the value of the HHR so I am thinking of getting something like this

Amazon Amazon

to scan it and if it shown to be bad then get another one from junk yard and a subscription to get the firmware to flash it myself.

But he is puzzled why dashboard kept saying service ESC so he couldn't pinpoint the issue since he doesn't own the shop or the tools to scan it with. He just work for them.

If everything is going crazy, that’s normally a sign that there is to low of voltage in the battery, have it load tested, under 12.4 bolts will cause issues.

The service ESC notice can also be from a short in the fuse box , have you inspected the under hood fuse box for loose halves, bent pins , a stray strand of wire from an add on?

Ive merged your posts here, let’s keep it in one thread, easier to find and follow

Yeah, in several post back. I explained that I took the fuse box apart and also disconnected all the connectors on ESC and BCM too then use an electronic spray cleaner to clean all the connectors. It didn't solve the issue.

We are still driving around in it everyday I guess you were call it limp mode when it kick into that mode and out. Money is tight and local mechanics doesn't want to touch it so meaning only dealership would be willing to look at it which mean $$$$$$$

"Service ESC" just means the EBCM is not getting enough power to function, it rarely has anything to do with the actual ESC, especially with all of those other lights.
