Shock Eyebolt length center to center

I would like to know what the oem shock length is for a 2009 Panel LS. I suppose it has the FE1 suspension front and rear. I'd like to know the center to center length before I remove the shock. Thanks.

Center to center length when ? When it's on the car ? New, not installed ?

If you want to know the measurement on the car, then you could just measure your own.

They are gas, so they come in the "closed" position in the box.

Ain't GoOgle great? https://www.google.com/search?q=monr...hrome&ie=UTF-8

Sarcasm aside, thank you. I did Google, but used different parameters. My shocks did not come compressed, but from the Monroe chart I believe the extended length is similar to mine.

So you're saying that the extended length of yours, is similar to... yours?

Didn't come compressed? We're they used or new?

If they didn't come compressed (with that little tie down), then they were either used shocks or the wrong new ones.

I know the shocks I've bought over the last 25 years for different vehicles have all been the gas variety, packaged in the compressed position.

Thanks for all the replies. I was trying to say that the new shocks which are Bilsteins, have the same or similar extended length to those listed on the Monroe shock chart for my HHR. These are new Bilsteins and were not tied down in the box. The box is long. I agree, most shocks I've bought have been compressed when sold. The listing was for my Panel LS, but you never know. I will remove the installed shocks which are not oem but from Rock Auto years ago and compare the shocks. Thanks Oldblue for the Rock Auto specs. I will try to find out the specs of my Bilsteins.

What sarcasm did you find offensive?
I rescind my statement; GoOgle is not great, avoid it at all costs.
I could accept criticism if I thought you and I were acquainted well enough that you could interpret my verbal inflection from written words. Have we ever met?
